OUT AND ABOUT: STARTING THE YEAR HIKING

“Out and about” posts are probably my favourite posts to write and create. Not only because I get to share places I visit and love with you guys but because I love looking back on them in the future. If you follow me on Twitter you’ll know I have spent the holidays revising everyday, so I didn't have much time to go out and do fun stuff. However, on January 1st I took the day off (going to bed at 5AM and revision don’t really go together) and went hiking with my family.

We visited a tiny tiny town called Biniaraix, which was in the middle of the mountains and then went on a short hike where we were meant to see some waterfalls. Unfortunately, many of them were dry (just my luck) but some of them did carry water and it was cool.

I don’t think I have ever seen proper waterfalls - and if I have I clearly don’t remember - so that’s the reason why I thought it was cool. If you have been lucky enough to visit places like Niagara Falls or Iguazu falls… well don’t judge me.

It was a great way to start the year - rather than hangover in bed - and I would definitely love to do it again next year! Even though I’m thinking I might want to spend NYE in London next time, the fireworks look so pretty!!
